Psalm 91, the Psalm often used as a prayer of protection, brings much comfort in times such as we are journeying these days.
I can not deny I have felt the effects… anxiety not firmly placed, desire for community, desire for solitude, difficulty focusing at work, lack of sleep, too much sleep, wanting to write, not feeling inspired to write, dreaming of something “other” – travel, relationship, seeing a concert – etc.
Take a moment to examine the effects this season has on you right now.
Let’s take this pause to universally agree that life is really hard right now!
YET…
Simply put, God is above all of this… He is with us in this… He is working good in this.
It is hard to see the hope in the difficult days.
But hope is what we have as Believers.
He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me… my great confidence.
Here’s to clinging to our confidence in Him and the hope that holds us!
