I’m giggling at myself as I do some scriptural research. I read a scripture verse incorrectly, yet I LOVE my accidental misspeak.

I was looking at scriptures about victory and found one of the most well-known verses in Romans,

No, despite all these things,
overwhelming victory is ours
through Christ, who loved us.

// Romans 8:37 NLT

When I read it aloud, I said “Despite all the things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”

Can I get an Amen?!

YES! Despite ALL THE THINGS going on in our day to day lives, we have the victory in Christ.

Nothing in this world can separate us from Him,
nothing will ever diminish His power,
and nothing will remove Him from the throne.

So, yes, regardless of all that weighs us down and grieves us in this life – all the things – we have OVERWHELMING VICTORY through Christ.
