After 430 years of silence, the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.
He came knowing all that was to come – the emotional and physical suffering; the exhaustion of being present mind, body, spirit for everyone He encountered; the political and social climate He affected from the moment of His birth until his last breath; He knew He’d be tempted over and over again by Satan and those who feared who He was…
He knew.
Yet He came. He came to save us. He came to be with us.
Have you taken time this season to dwell with our Savior?
Dwell with Jesus this day.
“Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
// Matthew 11:29-30 MSG
You will never regret the time you tarry with Him.
