In 25 days, I celebrate the beginning of my fourth decade on this planet & all that God has in store for me.

For each day heading towards my birthday, I thought I would write a wish or desire for my forties. I have thoroughly enjoyed my thirties and I know God has even more adventures around the corner.

I wish to buy a new mattress! This may seem like an odd thing to add to this list of 25 wishes for my 40’s, but it is not.

I love sleep!

Naps are part of living my best life!

Seven hours of sleep a night will generally make for a more friendlier and focused Kim.

And… I will forever be grateful for the heavenly, God-ordained moment each night when I slip into the sheets, my electric blanket is set just right, the fan is on the lowest setting for a light breeze and a gentle white noise and the mattress hugs me just subtly between soft and firm.

Ah!

I look forward to purchasing a new mattress to add even more depths of pleasure to bedtime. (And take that however you want.)
