In 25 days, I celebrate the beginning of my fourth decade on this planet & all that God has in store for me.
For each day heading towards my birthday, I thought I would write a wish or desire for my forties. I have thoroughly enjoyed my thirties and I know God has even more adventures around the corner.
One of my biggest desires that will change my daily routine and lifestyle is to gain healthy habits rather than limit them.
Over the last 5 years, I have made strides to better health through exercising more regularly and even enjoying a year of entering five runs (one miles & 5Ks). It’s been great to feel my body change and become more reactive when I exercise (and when I do not!).
The healthy lifestyle change that I must conquer is eating better!
I’m not concerned about dieting or regimenting myself to the point of denying the enjoyment of food.
I want to desire better and well rounded food choices. I wish to care about and take pleasure in the whole process – from picking the meals to cooking to eating.
Baby steps that I know will be worth it!
