I just went to my first yoga class, thanks to one of my best friends. It was gentle yoga and so relaxing. The class helped me realize that I am on the right track on my self-care journey.
The last couple weeks I have been a mixed bag of anxiety and melancholy. It’s been hard, because I often can snap out of a “blue” mood in a day or two. I have not been able to this time and it has been frustrating. This yoga class came on the perfect day and, during the guided meditation, I found the space to show myself a little mercy.
Each step matters and I take this as a victory. And every victory is worth celebrating.
