While Zechariah was in the sanctuary, an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing to the right of the incense altar. Zechariah was shaken and overwhelmed with fear when he saw him. But the angel said, “Don’t be afraid, Zechariah! God has heard your prayer. Your wife, Elizabeth, will give you a son, and you are to name him John. You will have great joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, for he will be great in the eyes of the Lord.

Luke 1:11-15

Imagine an angel coming to tell you that God has heard your prayer.

Imagine the ultimate prayer you have been praying for years has not only been heard, but answered in this celestial visit!

Whatever prayer you have been praying for years, maybe even decades, I plead with you to not stop praying. Don’t give up on God’s timing.

Seek after His will and His way of showing up and delivering the answer to your prayer. I imagine it may not look like what you have envisioned, but God has a way of going above and beyond!

Zechariah’s name means, “The Lord remembers”.

He remembers you too. He has heard your prayer too.

Now rest in the knowledge that He is working behind the scenes in your story just as He did for Zechariah and Elizabeth.
