I want to be a woman who trusts God no matter what. A woman with a heart more prone to be at peace than in a perpetual state of panic. A woman who can look at circumstances that appear beyond all hope and know that, with God, there’s always hope.

It is the human condition to jump to panic rather than peace, fear rather than faith, chaos rather than clarity.
As we close out this 2018 Election Day – a day we ensure our voice is heard and stand up for what we believe to be right and best for our country – the atmosphere of the country leans toward divisiveness, individualism and fear mongering.
It’s a rough place to try and find peace, faith and clarity. And this state of being is not going away anytime soon.
Yet…
as Believers in a God who is bigger than all that is taking place in our country, and in this world, we have assurance.
We are assured that He is over the government (Isaiah 9:6). He has overcome this world (John 16:33). He is with us (1 John 5:20) and He will fight for us (Exodus 14:14).
My hope is that you, that I, rest assured in the hope of God’s power and control so that we can find peace, lean on faith and have clarity in our lives.
Here’s to being women (and men) who trust in the Lord… no matter what.
