I love typography and I love quotes that grab you and make you think. The particular quotes that have captured my attention in this season of my life have been about being brave. 

So often, I’ve been drawn to the idea of being brave, just as the song lyrics say, but this idea manifests itself in my thoughts as being bold enough to do something out of my comfort zone. Skydiving, writing a musical, singing a concert at Carnegie Hall… But then I saw this and it made me pause:
To be “you” bravely is to live authentically and out loud; to be bold in our beliefs, desires and passions as God leads. 

“This is my command – be strong & courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Why not be brave…God is with us! Why not step out in faith when others may not…God is with us! Why not do something you may fail at…God is with us!

No matter what, staying stagnant is not an option (in my opinion). Marching forward, making decisions and being open to change are the ways to live your authentic self bravely.
