We can all see God in exceptional things, but it requires the culture of spiritual discipline to see God in every detail. Never allow that the haphazard is anything less than God’s appointed order, and be ready to discover the Divine designs any where.
–My Utmost 11/14
There have been so many things fluttering around in my brain. Thoughts about what I truly believe when it comes to certain moral beliefs, what I should say to some people (in a godly manner not in an opinionated human fashion), how this theme of Transformation in different areas of my church (F.Y.I., Sunday’s sermon, devotional time, Scripture I’ve been reading) is blowing my mind and making me really consider every action and evey word I utter.
I think the Romans 12 mentality fits perfectly with this quote from Oswald Chambers. When we are not spiritually disciplined, there is a “fog” in our way of grasping God in every day life. Once we renew our minds and seek only God, those details of life became technicolor and alive! Nothing is random, everything is a part of His plan for each one of us. Some may not agree with that…but I choose to believe God caes that much that He is in all the details and has made an intricate path for each of our journeys.
Oh Lord may I be faithful to see your Divine Designs…and to seek Your path and not my own.
Peace and Technicolor to you…
