today’s been good, except for this crazy headache that will not go away!
Bad Headache BAD!

As usual, I was at the warehouse all morning.  I learned about a lot of great things going on with the progress of the warehouse.  Very excited about it!  The main one that’s exciting for me is that we might be going up to Nashville to visit Rocketown!  Nashville is a place I’ve wanted to go to for sooo long, mainly because of the huge music industry up there.  Rocketown is definitely the place that closest fits the type of ministry we want to have in Ybor.  So, knowing that, it will be SOOO awesome to see our vision in a tangible way.  Oh, I pray that I’ll get to go up there!  Overall it was a very informative and important day at the warehouse…and always great prayer times! Keep praying for what God is doing in all this.  It excites me when people want to know about it, when people tell me they are praying and especially to think about the fruits of all this labor!!!!

BTW, I wrote the email yesterday to all the campus leaders.  Jess Hedgren proof-read it and then I sent it out.  I feel good about it and I pray to get some feedback in the next few days!

Thanks to all of you who left your movie selections…I’ve seen many of those, but may check out some of the others.  And whomever has NOT seen Ferris Bueller’s Day Off…you best watch it!!!!    Keep the movies coming!

Happy Birthday to my Sister-in law, Suzie!  My fam is going to Outback tonight to celebrate the bdays.  It’ll be fun….cheese fries, baby!

Thought for the day…

I realized today while a bunch of us were in prayer that I lack a huge element in my prayer life.  I never pray against the enemy.  Like Cheryl said on Tuesday when she told Jon to pray like Kim, my praying is more like a conversation with God.  It’s not really a normal thought process (at least for me) to ask someone to watch your back or strike down that person who’s been pestering you lately. Its not really a common thing for me to pray that way against Satan.  It needs to be though…I need to be asking God for protection from Satan’s schemes and subtle moving.  I’m not allowing full coverage over those I pray for and for myself when I don’t pray to that end.

So, I shall begin to pray against evil so as to protect those I love and those I promise I will pray for.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Ephesians 6:10-13

Peace to you…

I think Nashville is about 2 1/2 hours from Memphis.  Do you know the Raymers?  They’re stationed in Nashville.  That would be a great opportunity to go to Rocketown.  I’ll be praying for that.  our res. manager always prays in chapel to “bind Satan from the center totally”.  I didn’t think of it till I heard him and it’s great he prays that in the corporate setting for the men to hear.

Kim, The part about praying against the enemy was exactly what I needed to hear. It is definitely one thing I have not been including in my prayers and I have been noticing the enemies work moreso lately….So Praise the Lord for revelation!
