“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?
…So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

This was the scripture passage for My Utmost on Saturday…many of you probably remember the old Sunday School chorus that is based on verse 33…I kept singing it over and over the entire day after I read the daily devotional.  Oh how precious and simple God’s promises are!  It is truly amazing how simplistic this lesson from Jesuis is…yet so very diffcult to implement into our daily lives.  I love that, by learning that chorus so early in life, I was actually memorizing scripture…that has hit me a new and very profound way the past few days. God is so amazing in the ways He reveals new snippits of His truth throughout daily life!  Thank You!

This weekend was amazing!  Elin’s graduation was very nice…Elyse and I sneaked out early and sat by the water near Coachman Park….oh, it was beautiful!! We all went back to the Johnson’s for a little party…Elin wasn’t feeling well so we just stayed to mingle, eat and open gifts.  Andrea’s party was a lot of fun and relaxing.  I love those girls to death and I miss being able to see them as much as I obviously did when I was their youth director! But God knew the depth of our connections, and knew we would remain friends…fun times! (you can see that in our pics I’ll put up in a sec ) Sunday brunch with Kelly (yes Kelly Pope, Jen!)….the greatest thing about it was that it honestly felt like it was just another day…like she lived in town and we were doing like a regular Kim and Kelly time!  I can’t wait to see their new house…hopefully soon.  Then, I did some errands and went to my parents house for the evening.  Honestly, it was the nicest, laid back day I’ve had in a VERY long time! Being able to chill in the Hedgren’s hammock definitely helped!

Anyhoo…I’m putting some pics up from the weekend.  Enjoy…Peace!
