Okay…taking too much time out of my day to go through all my emails and email some back, so I will write about thie past week tomorrow. I will leave a little somethin’ from the One Time Blind newsletter I read today….
Peace until tomorrow!
“Whether you turn to the right, or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.'” Isaiah 30:21
It is amazing to me how we want God to completely lay out the path for our lives, yet that somehow takes the adventure out of it. I remember when I was in college, Drew and Darryl took Montina and I out to the car and told us they were taking us to a place that was a surprise. They blindfolded us and we drove for what seemed like forever. The boys told us to try and get some sleep (yeah right) and 3 hours later the car stopped. We were at Drew’s mom’s house and dinner was waiting for us. We all spent time eating, praying, dancing, it was a night I will never forget. It was great that Darryl and Drew did that for us, but there was something in the element of surprise that made it mean so much more. So, as we wait for God to speak, I pray we will blindly sit with excitement about where He will take us, knowing that if He is there, it is worth the wait.
As we stay committed to our calling, we ask God to speak. We wait to hear Him. A whisper here, a voice there, and we are walking again.
