         U2 IS COMING TO TOWN……NOVEMBER 16th!!!!

The Internet has been off and on all day today…quite annoying when you’re trying to write on here. I’ve thought about a number of things to write today…1) the weekend 2) Nehemiah (but this will be for another time when I’ve gotten deeper into the book) 3) The Vision and the Vow (I forgot the book so I can’t really do that)…etc etc

Well…now I honestly dont know what to say.  The weekend was so great.  Anita looked beautiful, breathtaking, stunning.  We have been told the bridesmaid didn’t look too shabby either…cool.  I had a really great time with all the girls…Steak n Shake, the freezing cold house, late night Wal-Mart run, early wake up by Jess, fun time at the salon, the weirdo photographer getting a little frisky, chicken biscuits, cheezy poses, painful (but cute) shoes, giggling groomsmen, nasty looks from the bridesmaids, a commitment finally solitified, long photo time, bad dj but still had fun dancin, good food, chocolate fountains (white chocolate baby!), faces I haven’t seen in a loong time, hangin out with Bobby Miga (always a trip), doing the chicken dance, the cake, the poppers, the nice rolls royce, the army cleaning up.  Those are highlights…it was great fun.  I know jon and anita are livin it up out on the beaches right now.  Lucky Lucky!

One day my prince will come…I am sure of that…but I do know that “God does use our frustrating desire to get closer to us” (quoted from a YS breakout session).  He is so doing that these days as I learn new amazing things about our relationship each day – both the good and the things needing to be worked on.  That’s what growing together is all about…God’s love for me (you) thrives on those moments when I have nowhere else to turn, but to God.  He is our stronghold, our fortress, our rock!

“I have given them the glory you gave me. I did this so they would be one, just as we are one. I will be in them, just as you are in me. I want them to be brought together perfectly as one.
