Jeremiah 1:4-10 says:  The LORD gave me a message. He said, “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my spokesman to the world.”

“O Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!”

“Don’t say that,” the LORD replied, “for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the LORD, have spoken!”

Then the LORD touched my mouth and said, “See, I have put my words in your mouth! Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. You are to uproot some and tear them down, to destroy and overthrow them. You are to build others up and plant them.”

So this is the scripture passage that Mjr. Howell showed be this morning…without hesistation….after I explained how freakin’ nervous I was about speaking to the advisory board last week. I miss the Howells…I miss their ministry and the pastoring I have only gotten from them. I thank God for real people! For people that do not put on a fascade and even where their heart on their sleeve. God is speaking ALL THE TIME, in everything around us.  Its been fun to search for Him – in the absolutely amazing artwork of the sky last evening (it honestly looked like someone combed through one single strand of cloud and spread it across the sky…and THEN, placed the sunset right behind it!) to God teaching me patience just seconds later while having to wait 10 minutes to pull out onto Van Dyke to meeting up with an old friend, Hillary Wolfe, at The Tree and getting to talk to other friends about what’s going on in their lives.

Anyway…I honestly and sincerely hope that you take the time to stop and look around at what awesome stuff God is doing!  Peace and love…

And we wonder why so many human beings are attacked by “crazed woodland creatures” and the like. Why can’t people let animals be animals?!
That is a great passage of scripture. God uses anybody who is willing and able. The weak can be made strong, the young can be wise, the poor can become the rich. It all goes through God.

I like the site change. Are those ferrets? How random. I miss the Howells immensely, and really, REALLY wish I could be there for this weekend. I am thinking hard about all you guys. You’d better take lots of pictures for me.
